Tremisana Game Lodge is located in Balule Private Nature Reserve which is a protected wildlife area that falls within the Greater Kruger National Park in northern region of South Africa. Balule is made up of a collection of private game farms which are unfenced and collectively they share an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park. It’s a Big 5 wildlife destination in an area renowned for its outstanding biodiversity.

Katekani Tented Lodge is a tented safari camp located close to Hoedspruit in the Greater Kruger National Park. Situated in a prime bushveld area that borders the Kapama Game Reserve, Katekani Tented Lodge offers guests an authentic safari experience with easy access to the iconic Kruger National Park.
Guests have a choice of 6 classic permanent safari tents which are carefully positioned on an elevated stand under a traditional thatch roof, offering spectacular views of the surrounding bushveld.
Each safari tent comes standard with its own private deck and splash pool and an ensuite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Guests dine under the stars in the evening at traditional boma (barbeque area) and enjoy pre-dinner drinks at the cosy lodge bar.
Depart from Johannesburg for the Greater Kruger. It’s a scenic 5-hour journey with a quick refreshment stop along the way. Arrive at Balule Game Reserve early afternoon; book into the game lodge, freshen up and relax before it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 4-hour sunset game drive. Return to the lodge at about 21h00 and enjoy an authentic bush braai (barbeque) under the stars at the outdoor boma.

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks before departing for an early morning 4-hour guided bush walk along the banks of the Olifants River. You’re accompanied by an armed and experienced game ranger who’ll point out all the smaller details of the bushveld that you don’t usually see off the back of an open safari vehicle. Return to your lodge for breakfast.
Late morning, we drive to a secluded private game reserve that lies on the border of Kapama Game Reserve. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and relax around the camp until it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 3-hour sunset game drive in Motlala Game Reserve. Dinner is served under the stars at the outdoor boma.

Wake up early for a sunrise breakfast and then join your tour guide for a full-day safari tour of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. We enter through Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper southern and central region of Kruger Park which is renowned for its strong populations of lions and other predators who stay in the area because of its rich bounty of antelope. We stop for lunch at a popular Kruger Park rest camp (own cost). Return to Katekani Tented Lodge late afternoon. Dinner is served under the stars at the outdoor boma.

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks before departing for a 1-hour sunrise guided bush walk, accompanied by an armed and experienced game ranger. Return to the lodge for breakfast; pack up and be ready to depart mid-morning for the return journey to Johannesburg. We travel back via the famous Panorama Route, stopping along the way to see the Three Rondavels. Arrive in Johannesburg at about 17h00.
Guests are collected and dropped off at OR Tambo International Airport (shuttle bus parking area opposite Terminal B). Look out for the Viva Safaris white Toyota Quantum tour vehicle.
By special arrangement, guests can be collected and dropped-off from their hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria (broad city precinct). Please pre-book this with your MoAfrika Tours representative.

If you plan to fly out of OR Tambo International Airport on the last day of the safari tour, we suggest booking a domestic flight that departs no earlier than 19h30 and an international flight that departs no earlier than 20h00.
