The 4-day Rhino Post safari tour takes guests to a 12 000 hectare private concession in the Kruger National Park. Rhino Walking Safaris Concession shares a 15 kilometre unfenced boundary with the world-famous Sabi Sands and MalaMala Private Game Reserves.
The Big 5 safari area is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, rich cultural history and outstanding wildlife and bird sightings.
Two full days at Rhino Post Safari Lodge are spent exploring the vast wilderness region on sunrise and sunset game drives and enjoying hours of relaxation and pampering back at the lodge, as well as a magical “sofa safari” from the privacy of their own viewing deck.
The private concessions within the iconic Kruger National Park are areas of land where carefully selected operators have a license to offer all the benefits of a luxury safari lodge on a private reserve. Guests staying at Rhino Post Safari Lodge are taken on game drives in an open safari vehicle within the private concession and have access to the public roads of Kruger Park.
Rhino Post Safari Lodge is an ultra-chic luxury game lodge that was created using a stylish blend of stone, wood, thatch, glass and canvas with contemporary décor and luxurious fittings. The spacious suites are raised on solid platforms and lie nestled in an ancient grove of Tamboti trees on the lush Mutlumuvi River. Each gorgeous luxury suite has an ensuite bathroom and a stunning outdoor shower on the private viewing deck. The open-plan suite is cooled with overhead ceiling fans and equipped with the usual modern amenities such as a mini bar and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Facilities at the main lodge include a sparkling swimming pool with a panoramic view over the lush riverbed and a permanent waterhole as well as a wonderful outdoor boma for starlit dinners, a comfortable lounge and bar area with a fireplace and a well-stocked wine cellar. Guests are offered a
